Thank You, Everyone

It was wonderful to see so many of dad's friends and family in attendance on Friday. Having you there to pay your respects and give your support to the family lifted our spirits, especially knowing that many of you had to fly down or make a long drive in order to be with us.

Please continue to check back with this website over the next few weeks. We will be adding more pictures as we come across them. And keep sending your pictures with dad so we can add more work and play related activities to the slide show -- don't worry about shrinking the photos down for email, I have a cable modem that makes short work of large files.

For those of you who have posted comments, thank you. Reading your stories about times with dad at work, on business trips, at neighborhood gatherings, etc. has helped bring back even more memories for us (don't worry, we'll be posting our own family memories as well). For those of you who have yet to post a comment -- what are you waiting for? Remember, you can post through the website option, or via email.

Thank you again for all of your support. Special thanks for their help in preparing for the services go out to Pat, Joe, and Rebecca; Denny and Linda; Dave (aka DVR) and Stephanie; Helene; Grandmom (Pat Collins) and all of her friends at First United Methodist and PEO; Carolyn and Katie at St. Timothy's; Becki at Funeral Alternatives; and the Jacobson clan for jumping right into the fray when they arrived on Friday.

One last item... Dad was very excited by the SD Chargers prospects this year. Don't forget to pull for the Bolts during the playoffs!
